Ducati monster isn't a bad shout if you are looking for something cheaper but the 600 would almost certainly end up being a "first bike" rather than a forever bike as it is a bit gutless. The 900 on...
Two good bikes for shorties are the Ducati scrambler (800 - I love the desert sled) and the Triumph Street 900 twin (or others in the bonneville range).

No, not the Yaris but I am mistaken. It was the Corolla GR Sport. I went with a mate to a local dealer. As he's a driving instructor he was looking for a manual but the GR Sport only comes in Auto....
They've got them in my local Toyota dealer. They seem fairly reasonable in terms of price. £31k for cash but I don't know what equates to on PCP nor what the waiting times are.
I bet that was fun ! Amazing views.
What tyres are you running on it ? The suspension/wheelarch gaps look bigger than they were on mine. I was running 225 front and 255 rears IIRC.
And how is...
I had a 16v from new (in grey) and it was a fun little rollerskate but after 3 years and 35k miles it was trashed. Rattly, electrical fault-ridden and worn out.
I replaced it with a new 1999 red...
