Ah, I'm glad to be able to return the favour then! (sort of) :D
tl;dr
What fantastic day, thank you! Llandow is a brilliant track!
Here's a link to a Flickr album (yeah I know, I'm old) for all the pics I took - apologies for missing most of you there, I was...
LOL :D That's hilarious :D
Yowsers, if the fuel was black that certainly wasn't good! Let us know how you get on once the guy has taken a look...
eh?
Yeah I was surprised by that, too. The 217bhp run back in Feb (with 1.4bar) showed full boost coming in at about 3500rpm or so - definitely a few hundred rpm earlier at any rate.
Odd :wack:
Sure :)
Boost is pretty steady...

...and torque is a much smoother curve than last time, too...
"300" starts with a nicer sounding and more attention grabbing figure than "270" http://www.zen72286.zen.co.uk/smilies/whistle.gif
hehe, you're right though - it does get a bit expensive!
We got hit with the Tesco fuel problem in L200 earlier on in the year, so know how annoying bad fuel is! :wack:
That said, are you sure it was bad fuel? That's pretty rare, and there are a lot of...
Steve1200 and 200Boo's car have an almost identical setup, each with a T28R.
Yesterday we got 294.1bhp at 1.1 bar at Surrey Rolling Road (couldn't run at the usual 1.4 bar due to some det on the...
Ooh, nice to know, thanks! :D

Just need to sort out that fuel curve a little ;)
Got to be in it to win it! :smash:
Seriously though, considering our disappointing run of 217bhp in February we're well chuffed with the extra 80 odd bhp that timing and mapping tweaks have...
Respect The Bung! :D
Hehe, yes it was a great evening - a good drive across the forest and a really nice bunch of peops - Boo and I will definitely head down for more Bournemouth meets!
Happy Mirthday, Bark!!

Well if you take that route you will be really slow! :wack:
May I suggest Southampton > Lyndhurst > A35 instead? ;) :p
For looking up the location / sat-nav the address is:
The Cat and Fiddle

Google map linky here.
We might pop along - L200 is flying now, so any excuse to go out for a drive!! :D
From what I've read on various forums there's no port blocking, and I should imagine they won't notice or bother as long as the traffic volume is relatively low.
Since they have it as part of their...
www.Speedtest.net is a nice one, it looks pretty and keeps a history of your previous scores.
Another one is of course the ADSLguide one.
That's good to know there's good Tmobile 3G coverage round here - I've been with Orange since they launched, but am planning to switch to this once they start selling the HTC Kaiser (next month...
When we had a similar problem, cleaning all the green from inside the coil packs and replacing the springy bits (you can tell I'm mechanically minded, eh?! :smash:) made a big difference!
Don't worry mate - I'm 37! I reckon we're the winners - we can spend less on insurance and more on performance bits  :D
Just having a belated trawl through this section and spotted this!
I'm guessing therefore that by now Chris & JJ will be sorting out your bottom end? Let us know how you get on!
Wow, long way round for us, but it would be fun!
Ye gads, how early?! :annoyed: Still, gotta be done...
OK, put Boo & I down for Tescos at six fifteen ante meridiem then
(Is that the...
Yes, we bought a GT28R and ran it at stock boost for 10 months before we got the supporting mods to crank it up.
It was running about 0.4 bar all that time.
Now it's running 1.4 bar, much more...
