cant believe how hard it is just to find an exhaust for an s14.......

Hmm maybe, anybody have any experience of this exhaust, how loud is it? not really wanting to have to use a bung, they look stupid! hah

I'm in the market for a new exhaust, the one on my S14 is rotten!

I ordered a full system from APex Performance, but Jason emailed me this morning to say they are no longer available
...

Comp levels were 140 across all cylinders (test was done cold)

not really, after taking another look, its more like 0.5mm hah

Right turbo is off and cleaned up as best I can

Can't see a any damage to the blades, I can see some discolouration but not sure if it's scoring
...

Turbo is still on the car at the moment

Had to cut the egr pipe off the manifold and cut the downpipe off as the bolts/nuts had been welded!!!

As soon as I whip the turbo out I'll clean it up...

I think that's pretty oily too, the breather pipe was pretty bad too

After some advice on the state of my turbo,

Would you say this was knackered? Fair bit of oil there, oil also in the I piping, not sure if I can see any scoring, there is about 1-2...

No, nowhere near being road worthy yet, i bought it as a project (been in a barn for 5 years)

i fully expect to find LOTS of other issues, but that is part of the fun of working on old cars

I'm in the process of moving house at the moment so not got time to check the car over thoroughly yet

I'll check all those places

I plan on dropping the rear subframe, suspension and fuel tank...

Awesome, glad to hear that its not beyond repair!

There is virtually no rust at the front of the car, just the rear, subframe is rusty and both chassis rails, body is solid, no filler or repairs as far as i can see

Only had my S14 a few weeks and its not road legal, been off the road in a barn for almost 5 years!

Found this on the chassis rail that runs...

btw, i can see a hole that looks like something should be attached to it, is that the case?
