Chaps,
I'm reaching out to the wheel whores of the club. Got a mate with an RX-8 who want's to run 17" steel wheels for the winter. They are 5x114.3 much like many Jap cars.

I did a similar thing 10 years ago. Always wanted a Chimerea so bought one.
I managed to buy a 4 year old 450 that had very low miles with a little bit of damage on it so I shipped it off to have...
Like others have said use WD40 with Scotchbrite or wire wool to bring them back up and then coat them in fresh engine oil and wrap them in a cloth. That will keep them oily and stop them rusting.
I've got a bunch of S14/a steering wheels complete with air bags. you can have one if you want one, on one condition though - I don't want it back!! lol.
Do as Nick suggests. DO NOT ignore it though! I made that mistake when I was younger. 6 points and an MP30 on my licence which is 'witholding information from the police' and a £500 fine for my...
That sound! It sounds like an F1 car. Awesome.
Like others have said it's worth blanking off the EGR :
...
It's not a bulb but an led, so you won't pull it.
I've got VAGCOM but i'm in Swansea. Worth buying a lead and downloading the free program though if you've got a VAG as it's straight forward to...
I'm a bit green to all this so i'm probably asking a stupid question. I've gone onto Experian and got myself my credit report.
So from that list of previous credit cards etc, do I just send a...
It would be a B7 model on a 2006 although the B6 stuff will be the same.
Is it quattro on just fwd Jez? I'm breaking a quattro B6 S4 at the moment. I've had all the bits I want off it.
If nobody else is up for it then it'll be better for me to head straight there as J47 is in the wrong direction!! lol.
Mortgage payments are way way off!
Could meet up in J47 Mc D's for a quick Sausage and Egg Mc Muffin before we head out? :)
It could be break fluid . . .
Try tow starting it. I've had to do this with various diesels after a fuel filter change.
Looks like there was quite alot of grit about which can be like driving on a slippery road. Certainly doesn't help with traction.
Another fool pulling wheelies in his car at a public event :wack:
The Mazda 6 is really unreliable and that reflects in it's price. The problem with the Saab is they use the Fiat diesel until the same as the Vauxhall which aren't the best.
I'm guessing you won't...
The early 1.4 diesels have the Toyota Yaris D4D engine and the 1.6 Petrol was a Chrysler lump.
The other thing that can fail is the power steering pump. That when on my mother in laws Cooper....
Look for water in the boot, it's only the seal around the high level brake light but if left it will cause corrosion issues.
The do rust so check underneath and check the previous MOT for...
Do as the guys have suggested but have a hair drier with you. Once you've finished painting, use the hair drier to dry the paint for 10mins or so (be careful not to go too close to the parts as the...
Drive one is best I guess, they do drive really nice. What about an A6? Or do they not drop into that price range?
Injectors are also a problem with the Mondeo. In my opinion it'll be 6 of and and half a dozen of the other.
So if you fancy the Mondeo, buy it. Just be prepared to junk it when it eventually...
New car? 320d or the Skoda Superb estate is pretty nice.
i've bought quite a few tools off them and they've always been good. Not close enough to Newport to visit them though.
