Come On You Reds.
Yes you were all right. It went straight through the MOT. I went a different station. They warmed it up enough and pushed the probe alot further in. Thanks all for your advice.
Here it is hopefully: Ive just spoken to tester at another garage and he said that the probe may not have been inserted correctly. Thanks in advance Jamie....
its not a question of being arsed someone from my work took it to get mot'd and i havent got the sheet yet thats all:D
Whats a sample dilution:rolleyes:
Yes could be ball joints. get the wheels off the ground and see what movements in the wheel. Top to bottom and left to right. good luck
I dont have the sheet to hand. Its been ok for the last 3 mots at a different garage. I might have to try a different garage and have a word with the tester. maybe he could sort it out for a drink....
Ah the cat could have been damp since its been sitting in shed for ages. Maybe it needs a longer drive then.
yes it was plenty. its always been fine on other mots. I thought he could of let it go.
my car failed mot today due to bloody emmissions. I've got full apex system but ive put cat back on for mot. If i replaced the system with a catback standard system do you think it would pass.
Cheers
Do it soon mate, it's gonna get bloody hard. Done mine in Feb doing 3 days lessons then test on final day. You need to do theory test first though and stupid hazzard test.
good luck mate
ok thanks for your help. Would you know how to adjust it to the stock?
thanks for the info mate.
Ive put the old afm (stock) back on and wired it up, but I have'nt adjusted the safc. Do you think i should adjust it but not really sure how to?.
ahem car still not sorted out. A few people suggested it could be immobiliser as there is spark and fuel but no go. I got standard nats alarm but it opens, locks and light goes on and off when it...
   :D
I dont know technical questions like that haha.
The machine came up saying there was problem with afm its a z32 thingy so now i need a plug so i can use my standard AFM.
and their taking load of money from our pensions
 well said
I give up now. I towed it to a garage down the road from me last night, where they have a diagnostic machine to tell them what sensor is faulty.
I took plugs out, put them in the coils, rested them on engine and turned it over.
welcome mate and chop their balls off
Hi Alvin
fuel pump is priming, plugs are sparking but still no go. What next auto electrician?
