Sounds like bulls**t to me but have a read and tell me what you think.
Just an update. I changed my coilpacks for a mint set about 2 weeks ago and the problem is still there. It only seems to happen during the first 3 minutes of the car starting.
Any suggestions?
Forgive my ignorance, what are the loom connectors
It doesn't just do it at idle. It will still run on 3 for a little while even if you drive it, then it just magically goes back to normal after a minute or two. Wierd:confused:
Phat Bob - I will try that later. My mate has a set of coils I can try.
Johnny - It has only been doing it over the last few weeks and the weather has been warm and dry.
I have recently started to have a problem with my S14. When I start it up sometimes it is fine and sometimes it runs on 3 cylinders (scooby sound). The revs go up and down for a bit (usually a minute...
Dan, still waiting for an answer on this
Dan,
I managed to smash the circuit breaker while fitting my relocation kit (completely my own fault)
Could I please order another one? If so, how much and how should I pay?
Cheers

So a new or lower mileage VVT sprocket will cure it then?
My S14 has recently started to sound like a taxi cab:confused: It drives fine and had a full engine rebuild which included new turbo gaskets about 8K ago. I done all the usual check and just did a...
For the maximum power that your looking at you'd probably be better off with a GT28RS

Is there any chance of getting any twin piston rear calipers? From experience i know that the s14 rear calipers are constantly seizing up and dont work that well in the first place.
What sort of calipers are they? Are they single piston?
It may be the best location for a temp sensor for a gauge but for an electronic fan controller, i would say that the bottom hose is the one.
The oe temp sensor is located near the water inlet...
Me too
Piece of pi55 to fit and im no mechanic. The fans fit to the rad with the mounting kit that Bren supplies with the kit. They are like fancy cable ties that go throught the fins of the radiator...

Bottom hose mate. I put mine in the top hose and then realised my mistake.
