Isn't there a silicon brake fluid around? Would that be okay to use?

I read about putting a few drops of brake fluid on bushes to help with the creaking but isn't brake fluid corrosive to rubber? :confused:

I raised that issue with a dealer at the weekend and he said it makes it easer to clean just the smaller panel :indiff:

Just tried to get a refund on the lead from Ford and its non refundable. :mad:

Had the car serviced by Ford and it turned out to be the air breather hose on the crankcase - £10 plus vat and...

I'll let Ford Service it and if they say it needs changing I'll try it myself first ans see how I get on.

It couldn't just be a loose air line somewhere could it?
I guess they are all round the back and difficult to check tough.

Hmmm - might have to take a look as that looks like an expensive job.

I only want it to last until I can find a replacement so dont want to spend too much more on it.
