Yes, because it’s done for looks... they want it to look like a hardcore off-roader.
Yeah but cars like that are done for looks/attention. It’s never going to actually be off tarmac.
Steel wheels are stronger and cheaper, better choice if it is actually going off road.
It's been great for the mileage, only really had one problem which was oil cooler pipes. I knew they weren't great but put them off til next oil change and then cracked one while replacing the...

It sounded nice (although others will disagree) and made it pop on overrun but increased lag on gear changes.

I seem to remember that goes under the throttle body. Block it off.

Get an old one :)
Can't go wrong with a blackbird :) my '97 has done 35 k since I bought it in December 2013 (up to 72k total now) and not missed a beat. Had fork seals, fluids and tyres but nothing gone wrong. Can...
Unfortunately it was all they had in that size, it was to replace a pr 2 with an unrepairable puncture :/
Not had them fitted yet, should be going on tomorrow. To be honest longevity is one of the most important things to me, I once had a Dunlop qualifier on the back of my fzs600 and that lasted 5k. PR2s...
They were delivered today. Manufacture dates are week 4 and week 17 of last year so well within 3 years recommended.
Nice one, just got some PR4s for the blackbird for £181 delivered.
I've used Pilot Road 2s for the last ~40k miles. Think they're great, although 3s and 4s are meant to be better if you don't mind spending a bit more.
Rear is getting pretty squared off now (most...
Google parking eye. Don't pay it.
Did you get a slip from dvla acknowledging that you'd sold the car?
You'll be surprised. After riding my Fazer for 18 months I bought a Blackbird and insurance was about £330 with no ncd (kept on the Fazer) and a non-fault accident.
Get something with a slightly more relaxed riding position. Goldwing? :p
I think he means can you feel it all move sideways when you rev it. Like how a car with a longitudinal engine will shake when you rev it.
Just sold my Fazer (assuming the bloke comes to pick it up) for £350... engine is well down on compression, suspected top end, and I just can't be bothered with it any more. Quite fancy a big twist...
If it's a second car how about something like this?
I loved my TD5 Discovery, but it did feel like I was sitting on a time bomb that was going to cost me loads in repairs at any second. In the 10 months I owned it the ACE failed which would've cost...
50 miles each way on the bike :) Traffic can be a bitch in London sometimes but I've never once wishing I was on the train.
What a let down :( I was expecting someone called "L16JAY" (I'm keen on tidiness lol) to be posting on this thread.
Blackbird, risers, MRA screen and a comfier seat
Not that I've ridden any of the other options, but there you go :wack:
