Unplug ur lambda sensor an take for a drive, sounds like that, if it's it you can leave it unplugged till u get 1

I've no engine in mine other 1 an no wiring in the engine bay an I can connect the battery an put the windows up or down, haven't tried anything else tho mate! Likes of the fuel pump could be run...

What your sayin sounds like vvt rattle mate, I've posted about this before, vvt sprocket is the culprit...
