I don't have any chicken strips on the back, about 2cm either side on the front tyre. But the roads around Bridgnorth where I live are nice long sweeping bends that you can really carve into.

The suspension is utterly shagged but you're right it'll be technique more than anything. I'll have a play with body positioning at the weekend.
Haha I know somebody who did that, works in a polishing factory and literally stood there with a belt sander.
This was on a very quiet, wide island that you can go round all day til it touches...
Well after a day of constant effort on Sunday, I finally got my knee down. Sounds stupid but I was so happy.

Exedy sports organic from DW. Clutch pedal feels great, bites nicely and I've not had any issues at all. Cheap too.
Was going to suggest Clarkey at Doritech. Wouldn't let anyone else go near my car. (Other than Greg at Protuner).
Commenting so I get a notification when people reply. Keen to replace mine too.
Yep, for those wondering - the original one they supplied didn't go straight to the slave. This is why people were complaining in the reviews.
They have since changed the design to go directly from...
It's becoming more and more common mate, luckily I've had 4 powerful RWD cars in my last 4 years so I'm technically insurable. Really winds me up.
I've got a mate who drives his S15 on track so...
Sounds like you've rubbed through the main loom in the arch. That'd explain the squeak too (tyre hitting loom).
It'll probably be temperamental now until you strip the loom and repair the broken...
I'll be driving up with the lads around half 5 ish. Sure we'll see you along the way.
Clutchless down-changes are a bit more difficult to rev match but can be so smoooooth.
Had the bike out yesterday (only a CB600F) and had a blast. I passed my test in August so I haven't had many...
It's probably been there for almost 20 years without going off. You'll be fine.
S14 have the speedo brightness switch, the 14A just has the headlight aim switch and you can't adjust the brightness of the dash.
If it does eventually go away leaving you with a nice quiet engine and only comes back when it's been idling for a bit I'd put it down to the VVT. My last car did something very similar, except mine...
Morning chaps,
The box in my 14a is just about ready to crap itself. I'm going to replace it with a known good unit but I've never had a gearbox apart before and want to use the opportunity as a...
Could you have been given a flywheel figure perhaps? I know a few friends who have thought their cars are 300bhp + at the wheels only to find it's actually a flywheel figure. Just a thought.
Also...
I'm a biker as well as an S14a owner, both have their perks but you can't beat the feeling of (legally) filtering through miles of traffic. Lets face it, if bikes were to sit and wait in traffic like...
I'll be there chaps, can't ignore chicken and Sbodies.
Tom.
Ah good stuff mate, amazing what an exhaust leak can do to these cars!
I'm really surprised by your power figure Matt, have you had the exhaust leak fixed yet? Mine made the same figure on stage 1a. Also a very, very hot day in July last year.
Tom
Ha, I've been following this car with it's previous owners for a while now. In fact when it was on the nice wide black wheels I had a pic of it as my desktop background for a while.
With regards...
Don't worry, it'll be another S14a and an rx7 fd hopefully
I'll be there, will hopefully be bringing a few friends along too.
Tom.
New wheels are on...
