Was just checking as Nismo has an SR20 in his avatar :p
Will this work on CA18DET as well?
Picked up a new engine that is missing a few bolts.
Does anybody know the length and thread of the bolt that goes through the bottom of the alternator and into the block?
I'm also after the...
More work on the car this week sees it a lot closer to the paint deadline of August 16th (the same day that it was originally painted in 1967. However as I am more active on instagram because of ease...
It didn't run and was a lowly 289 when I bought it complete with C4 trans. That has been ripped out and I have a 351w block to go in...once it's been stroked out to a 408 and mated to a T56 Magnum 6...
Sacrilege! Never gonna happen. I already have 98% of the new panels with many of them finding their way onto the car with more updates coming when I write them up
The worst of the rust is localised to the area below the battery (poxy lead/acid batteries)

Seeing as this section of the forum is pretty quiet I figured I would throw my hat into the ring with my non s-body project, my 1968 Mustang Fastback.
I have owned the car for around 5 years now...
Another thing I'd add is to bin the plastic T's and replace with brass. It's no fun when they go brittle and break...
Definitely a brake leak. If you're struggling to find a rebuild kit I have a known working spare one here after I took it off the car to replace it with a BM57 because of brake upgrades to the car
As green_rs13 says, you need to buy a RHD version as the ports exit on the left into the engine bay. US models exit on the right so are no good. Australian Market are RHD so will be fine
So the S14 one is more preferable to the Z32?
Thanks for the advice. Seeing as one of the ports on the s13 mc has threaded it's a perfect excuse to upgrade
Hi All,
I have upgraded the S13 brakes to R32 fronts (4 pot) and Z32 rears. Will the standard S13 brake master cylinder and servo be up to the job of providing enough hydraulic pressure or is it...
Post up a pic of the caliper for reference. I'm pretty sure I have an odd caliper kicking around that you can have for the price of postage if it will help.
In the current climate but the value keeps climbing. Besides I'm building it to abuse and enjoy not become a garage queen
Have a chat with Brentacre Insurance. They're very reasonable and unless any mods drastically increase the performance then they don't really affect the policy price
What headlights are those? Looking clean!
Bought my 68 Fastback Mustang back in 2013 for 9k as nerding a ground up restoration but mostly complete. The same car would cost at least 15k these days. Once restored who knows what'll it be worth...
Try MachineMart as well. They have a pretty wide variety in including R134 coolant ones but they might be outside of your budget
Failing that its the hand brake warning light that goes to the switch at the base of the handbrake. Lights up the dash warning light if you have the handbrake on whilst the ignition is on.
Just...
Legend, thank you very much
Hey all, before you jump down my throat for not using the search function, firstly its broken and secondly the threads that I do find are all around 10 years old with no working links or pics, even...
