They are different due to the rack, but the engines are interchangeable as the mounts are in the same place I think the s14 one is wider to we're it bolts onto the chassis, I don't know how true this...

I had the same problem, I just located the crack chopped it all the way with a hack saw place a oil rubber hose over it making sure the hose was long enough (about and inch over both sides of metal)...
Simply don't do it you will need a remap with as said 555 cc injectors z32 afm 255lph fuel pump, iv seen a sr20 blown from over boost with one of these with neglect of a proper map and supporting mods
