I'm afraid I'm going to drop out of my slot guys .... due to the fact that I've sold my car
*shudder*
I shudder to think how much I've spent on my car .......... especially with the therapy and all :wack: :D  :annoyed:
Hi arry, I'm still around mate - but just soooo busy lately I don't get much chance to 'check in'. Plus I'm still waiting for my car's new owner to come and pick her up  It's been a few weeks...
How about this ....

I just made some dummy end plates out of some high density foam, painted them silver and stuck them in with double...
.. or 10" wide deep dish rims - go on Col ..... I DARE YA :D :smash: :smash:
H&R's would be your best bet - and if you've already got 5mm ones on it looks like 15mm would be ideal. You will have to change the studs though :(
SCA should be able to help you out with the...
Definitely very nice

But 10mm spacers would finish it off Col ;)
Nah, I wouldn't go that far ........ but I have just fitted an M3 boot spoiler though. :D
That's as far as I go though - it would be a bit pretentious to do anything else to a DIESEL ..........
Don't even joke about it Col! I can't seem to get my modding hat off - already chipped it, lowered it on 17s, tinted the lights ....... arrgh :smash: :smash: when will it all end??? :annoyed:
Ssshhhmokin' Col! but a little spacer might be in order to make the most of 'em ;)
I was hoping to do this mod to my S13 but I .... erm ....... sold it :o
I'm sure that it took some wonga to make all that carbon fibre.
I am also sure that it is an engineering miracle.
I am definitely sure it would look better with a few coats of paint - it just...
Just to let everyone know - my 'contact' in the US seems to have dissappeared  and despite several emails I am not getting any answers. I have sent one final email to them to say that we...
Nah - it's just that women stink more than men! :D
I wear a few hats ....
Operations Manager for a small electronics company (making gas detectors)
IT Engineer - mainly just building PC's for the odd people (and some are VERY odd)
Freelance...
No holes needed! Just stick the tube in beween the dash & widscreen and out through the firewall - easy when you know how ;)
Oh and all gauges have backlit displays so just tap into your dash...
Most Definitely!

Everybody laughs when I say that my £22 TIM gauge is pretty accurate (when compared against my AVC-R anyway) BUT IT IS!
A bargain I'd say :p
The Pacet range is the one I used - it sits nicely on the back of the S13 rad and looks made for the job. However do not use the fixings that normally come with these aftermarket rads. They normally...
Bit fiddly this - pop up the lights first (duh) and remove the black plastic panel (two screws IIRC) Then remove the 'lid' (four screws) You can then get to the rear of the light units and remove the...
Yep, 'twas me alright - and the spigot is essential to minimise any wobble  If you plonk the disc on without the spigot you are relying on the studs to centre it - not good
Imagine a 200bhp Golf tdi! It might give a few 200's a run for their money
So if my Beemer was NOS'd it should make ..... about 300bhp!! :whip:
Ooooooh ! I just saw that NOS feature on 5th Gear tonight!
They managed to get a 1.9 diesel Golf to NEARLY beat a Honda NSX over the standing quarter
I wonder ........ :D
It's suprisingly good considering the mileage (187k) but the previous owner must have either lived on a dirt road or worked on a building site - coz it was CAKED in mud over two inches thick in...
Ok, here's a couple of quickies.....
