get to a paint shop and buy 500ml of panel wipe for around a fiver. wont damage paint and has endless uses, even around the house!

i has a set of chargespeed ones once and the fitment was good. theyre made of much better, and thicker, material than the epracing stuff i bought too.

a quick google shows this is also a Polyurethane sealer. seems more an adhesive/sealer from what i found.

Condensed update this one. Been a busy week with work and the refurb. Spent as much time as I could cleaning up the rusty bits with wire wheels and sanding discs, slapping Hydrate 80...

just goes to show that even when garaged and with sub 26k under its belt that rust still develops.
