Well, my exhaust manifold has a pretty extreme crack that needs repair. Pretty much the bit that holds the external wastegate has nearly broken off. Anyone able to weld a stainless steel manifold?...
I believe the starter motor is the same for both the S14 and S15 SR20 motors.
Thanks for the tip.
I sent them an email and got a response pretty quick. They told me which one I should purchase, but the only thing is I need to keep the ABS disabled. Doesn't seem to be an...
That's what I was figuring. Knew it wouldn't be as easy as just plugging it up. Where might I be able to get one of those?
I'm wondering if they already had everything hooked up, minus the...
Thanks for the reply.
Once again, I have the ABS ECU and it is installed/plugged in. The Power FC is for an S14. Once I get my car up on a lift, I plan on checking to see if there is a speed...
I figured the diff was connected.
As far as the ABS ecu, I have a box bolted next to my Power FC that has 2 plugs going into it. To me that appears that the ABS ecu is connected. Now as far as...
So last night I decided to take a look in the dash to see if there was anything that looked out of the ordinary. Of course everything seemed out of the ordinary since I don't have much experience...
I'll have to take a look. I don't have the stock ecu, as I stated in my post I have a Power FC D-jetro. I do have an extra box next to the ecu, which may be the ABS ecu.
As far as I know, the...
I was hoping to get a little help, or at least a good start on my issue.
I purchased an S15 Spec S that was converted with an S14 SR20DET and tranny. I call her my Spec R/S (or S/R, not sure...
I'll try to squeeze a few between the Mt. Dew's in the trunk.
Since Bryan won't be able to make it, looks like I'll be the one bringing the Dew's. Let me know if there is anything else anyone wants from little America.....
I checked the piping and all the clamps. I have 1 clamp about to break off and another that might also be breaking. I also noticed one of the silicone couplers is starting to crack. I tightened all...
I would say that it increases the more I try to punch it. I'll try and get a video tomorrow of me trying to go full boost.
I took a look at my intercooler piping and found one or 2 of my hose...
Sorry about the crappy vid. I just made it real quick trying to catch it, the whining sound is very low. If I drive it up to boost, it'll sound fine up until around 4k rpms, then it does a crazy loud...
I'm not sure which type of gasket to get. Is one style more prefered then the other?

Beautiful car.....
I wouldn't say mine is gorgeous, but it'll get there eventually. Thanks for the kind words though.
I'm loving the look, but I may steer towards a different body kit. As much as I love that one,...
I really wish I would have made it out. Would have liked to meet some of you fellas. I should have my new turbo in a week or 2, once that is set up, I'll be able to meet up. Won't be going to crazy...
So as I'm awaiting my new turbo, I'm going over things that I may need to buy or alter.
My current turbo has a 3 in inlet and my new one is a 4 in. Would it be fine to just use a 4 to 3 in...
If you haven't seen them before, you have to watch their past episodes. They are all great.....
Love those guys......
Plan on buying their Mega Fan Pack, but funds are tied up on the S15 for now......
I've seen different types of material used as gaskets. Is there a specific type I should stay away from?
I should mention The gaskets are for an S15 SR20DET (from an S14). I have a top mount exhaust manifold T3/T4 fitament, T3 turbo, external wastegate.
So I'm awaiting my new turbo and have been doing some searches for gaskets. Is there a specific type of meterial to look for? Would it be safe to purchase some on ebay?
I will also be installing...
