Parked up weybridge not too far from red bar, parked opposite my blue s13
These cars getting a rare sight, let alone 2 next to each other!
With the fuel gauge, is this due to the fact the gauge has a mechanical memory.?
So if you do a full tank, then physically move the needle to
Full, you may find this solves the problem.
Agreed - has an earth come loose, otherwise I can't remember are the speedo connectors keyed ? Are they fully pushed home, not likely to be anything else.
How about the other warning lights...

In answer to some of the questions, could put a pic up - but not really much to see - its a cylindrical trolley jack saddle shape in the middle of the sump.
...
While investigating an oil leak , trolley jack slipped of the oil coated crossmember onto the sump... Ouch
While not the full weight of the car since it's put a sizable dent in the sump, anyone...
wow, local motor factors had one in stock. £7.99 cheaper than Nissans 26
Measured this one, and also 2K at 20 C. Damn it, likely this is not the cause.
Will fit this one anyway, just in case.
...
Looks like 2K at 20 C so a bit low compared to the spec of 2.5K

Shall order a new one and let you know !
have updated my signature ( about time !! ) to include my spec.

A year of so ago, i rebuilt the...
Sorted !
After fitting a new slave cyl and bleeding

Then bleeding the master cylinder cured the
problem completely.
The car so much nicer to...

I hoped it may be just this, but alas ! adjustment under the pedal within spec.
Hi red rider, thanks for reply.
Clutch fluid level good, although there are minor leaks around this area ( still to be investigated ! )
I think you are right with removing the SC, really need...
Problem i've got is when you brake ( most noticeable in 1st / 2nd ) unless you disengage the gear, the revs drop and the car tries to keep going - ie its like the cluch has not disengaged so you are...
Is this a common failure point for exhaust manifolds ?
I dont think even a genuine nissan gasket is going to help on this one !
...
 thanks Kieren, appreciated.
Can anyone help here ?
i got confirmation from Dr Bob last year that payment was received, but nothing else happened.
I've pm'd again, but from a post it seems Dr Bob has declined the role.
