saw the gumpert apollo at gti international(inters) and it is tiny, and very cool. think hammond drove it because no one else would fit in it.
it went down the 1/4mile track at inters a few times...

just thought i'd add my opinions on a couple of these places that i have used.
Chesman Engineering/Motorsport
(recommended by a classic car restorer and also a cylinder head genius) - mk2 golf...
a 1.4 mk3 is very slow. as said above, don't waste your money doing it up.
just drive it until you can afford a better/quicker car
can't believe you sold it, was very nice. but having an old car isn't easy.
my 200 is so nice to drive and comfortable after using the golf. but the golf is just pure fun to blast around in
yeah i'm not too keen on the euro look. i have got some nice bbs rs split rims to go on once they have been finished.
just waiting on the powder coating, then i can build them back up.

i think they should increase tax when oil prices are low and drop tax when it's high.
then it could keep fuel prices at say 95p a litre at all times. tax income will be roughly the same
