Only thing that can be a pain DIY...
It does look nice, and it seems that the seller is honest enough about it, It's just, do you really want to drive it back 350 miles with the bottom end knocking.
Also, by the sound of it, it was a...
Speak to Jez @ Horsham for a figure buddy. Power may vary car to car but he's in my opinion the most qualified to give you an educated guess.
In my opinion getting a custom map is always better...
Cheers, I heard from others it can be a pain to get them to reach however, so I've just ordered a conversion set from Apex for £40...
Thanks anyway though, much appreciated.
Hey guys,
Just waiting on handbrake cables now and I've noticed that people are having to use brake conversion lines from the S14 rear to Z32 rear set-up.
Yet I've noticed that some people...
Welcome,
Looks wicked man, should be an interesting setup when you've finished it.
I hope you know, you're legally obligated to drive like a nutter everywhere now, blaring eurobeats at full whack.
As you said, probably over-fueling. Might send your narrowband a bit skitso until it's all burned off. SR's don't tend to do too well off the limiter anyway, even with RAS's installed... Good luck...
They're both the same, but the E91 is a bit nicer inside and slightly more refined. E46's are workhorses though... Depends what engine I guess...
So basically, I have a cheap chinese double din unit.
Worked perfectly until a while ago, the onboard Satnav in the unit wort work anymore and will cause the sterio to just shut down.
Like it...
Anybody know if he's breaking for parts? :D
Yeah, finding 2-Ways can be hard, I got really lucky with mine, I originally intended on getting a HLSD from an imported Spec R S15... Turned out that the S15 it came from had swapped it out for a...
Go for cars they made in limited production or limited edition.
When I was 18 I got a Mk4 Astra SRi-Turbo. (Basically a GSi but without the recaros)
265WHP and silly torque at 18 for around...
Solid diff bushes are hell on earth IMO. Even the powerflex type ones are a bit too much for a daily if you're a bit picky. OEM ones are goo enough for casual drift days and fast road use......
Changing diff oil every 4K miles is a myth. Even with plate-type 2-ways.
Honestly, wait until you notice a major difference and then change it for the same stuff people use the the KaaZ diffs.

I'd go with a 4.1 Man, I really miss mine after I swapped out for an S15 3.7 diff.
As said before though, it won't lower your boost threshold, it'll just change it so you can reach boost at lower...

Stop trying to sell your scrappy crap to me Nath!
Might have to buy an electric impact gun by the sounds of it now though haha.
As title suggests, any recommendations on any air ratchets/compressors?
Some of my bolts are so seized that not even 16 stone of man and bacon can break them free.
Ideally under the £300...
Better know as 'LOL' mode...
Honestly not ever had nearly as much fun in any other car driving in mild conditions, casually than ending up sideways around a roundabout.
Probably the best thing...
Funny story with MX5's in the winter, one of my friends keeps getting them for cheap winter 'fun' and regularly drives with the roof down while it's snowing (If you haven't done it, try it, it's is...
>Don't come on SXOC for a while

Me, right now.
On a serious note though, Jamie has a point, besides, if...
So, this is my first proper winter with my S14, had it last year when I was 19, but back then my diff was welded and I was so scared of the arse end kicking out that I drove around at 5mph...
When I had my GSi I was running 265 at the wheels, no doubt in my mind that I could drive it faster and harder round the twisty's than my Stage 1a...
Great fun as well, knowing that you're not...
Owned mine for a year and a half (back when I was 19 and had nothing to lose)
I wouldn't advise getting one with a welded diff as a daily, had it for 6 months and was just annoying as hell.

North weald sounds awesome. Shame they're no places to really skid down south/central :/
