E34 5 series has it's battery under the rear seats. Atleast the 6 pots do anyway.
So the cable may be a little short.

Ive just swapped from Pilot sport 2's to the Falken FK452's
The Pilot Sports were the best tyre ive ever owned.
FK452s seem to have softer side walls imo, but they do hold on well in the dry/wet...
