There are reports of stock 1UZ bottom ends running big power, 700bhp+, how much truth is in this I can't be sure. You can get a 350bhp setup with out too much work.

Have you tried putting 12v to the spade connector on the starter motor? You've done the gearbox, start and charge loom conversion right?

The elbow ones need modding, it's simple to do once you know how. Creates the seal that is lacking to work properly. If I get a chance, I'll pop a picture up of what it looks like. Then they sound...

Why not. SR20 will struggle around 400bhp for reliability where as the RB will be happy as larry.
