Well i know the Datsun sunny or the old Datsuns didn't have baffled tanks as well as any form of pump in tank just a sender unit for the gauge. So it would require some sort of external pumps...

I had a similar problem when doing a conversion on S14 uk spec Sr20det vvt. I used a different wire off the ecu loom. Il check it for you and post it . But top of my head it was the red and yellow...

I have the original a12 engine..... I know I have to slam the datsun looking into making some custom coilovers.
Here's mine. I did weld the rear diff but now thinking of doing a ae86 rear end swap.

I like your datsun b310 I have one too that soon will have sr20det, a15 engine are quite rare in these good engines
