Has yours had any headwork? mines got standard head and standard tb and plenum just 264 cams so mabye its a little strangled up the top of the revs?
cheers fordy:thumbs: just so everyone knows this was at 1.8bar dropping to 1.6bar towards the end hence the power drop:)
i understand that this aint the best turbo or the most used but i built the engine myself and have made every decision about the setup, the information on here has helped me alot and by me supplying...
been out today in it and it dosent feel laggy at all, 1bar by 4k and its mental after that the gears feel really short lol
yeah i thought the same:confused: started to chuck a bit of blue smoke out 2nite when revved hard. mabye low compression has caused strange results although after 4k it pulls so hard. its not that...
Jus an update on this, had a new RR done today with vvt working and have now reach the emanage blues limits:annoyed:

does your oil smell of petrol? i had this wen my injector stuck open:nod:
input shaft bearing on the gearbox mabye? on s14/a if you put it in forth it will go away as its straight through gear. not sure on s15 boxes:confused:
i did this outside my mappers, injectors took half hour only because the o rings were the wrong size, z32 was really easy, theres a pretty simple guide on here if you search for it. I upgraded from...

fuel pressure was standard as running standard reg still, ive always had torque drop off while the horsepower climbs, dont no why jus assumed its normal:confused:
emanage blue for me and ive got 460bhp with it:D
yeah mines like yours, im hoping it will be around 4k full boost with the issues fixed. hope nothing seriois with your bottom end. i had to change my shells after 2k as i had a brief moment with no...
forging isnt really required unless going for high power like 400 plus, even then its jus a case of better safe then sorry
i believe the hx35 should be good for over 500bhp. with regards to the twin wastegate setup itl probably help spool but by how much? il be going for a remap with a working vvt and stiffer wastegate...
as said above remap is a good idea, next on my list would be brakes and or bigger turbo:thumbs:
hey bud, you got yours mapped yet? im seeing full boost around 4500rpm but like i said vvt should bring it in sooner aswell as sorting out the backpressure problem:thumbs:
it was fun:), boost did drop off but that was due to a tired actuator. be different a get one 400 ponies aint bad:D

nismo 555 and bc 264 cams. i personally thought it as a brilliant turbo just didnt think it could push 500
i used it on main cap studs but it wasnt a must jus my preference. ohh and exhaust studs because the buggers like to work themselves loose:whip:
i had a td05 18g, good turbo, made 400bhp@1.5bar and spooled ok, full boost by 3900 so not bad:thumbs:
cheers bud:thumbs: thats what im hoping, because considering its a twin scroll manifold it still is rather laggy
