Eh?
For a kick off we're talking about a turbo charged one so (maybe with a large modern t4 variant or such) so lots of torque,
but any how, power is what matters, (which so many seen to fail to...
Wonderful engines in these, as mentioned.
id swap one for the sr if i could afford do it, with low comp pistons etc (better still buy a good 2000 and mod the engine)
the vvt on these and rev...
But when does a fact become proven?, how much evidence?
You can be sure someone is typing up a comment as we speak, describing some high compression engined car (tuned by a 'tunning god'!!!)...
Surely adding the bracing from the 15 couldnt equate to a full caged 14 ? Could it ?
AVCR Since its the one most tuners have experience with,
setting up by a tuner (pref. On rollers) is what makes all the difference anyway.
The controllers themselves are much of a muchness.
You spelled 'Spelt' wrong.;):p
Availability of parts and resourses have clearly improved greatly over the years, it would be way easier cheaper to build a powerfull s14 now than 6 years ago.
but Im surprised a few of you...
yeah, i had a go on one of those at Lanzarote,
handling was shit.
isn't that engine mounted right up against the firewall?
(whats the standard engine position like on those?)
should have good weight distribution.
ooh niiice!
Yeah, almost to the point of quoted figures from unknown sources becoming a a bit spurious and meaningless.
Would be very cool if we could get all the really powerful SX engined cars together some...
Whats your view on the madTech figures, and the figures in general (appreciating that some of these have huge turbos and must be big power..) that come out of the scandanavian countries, in terms of...
Its the GTiR full inlet side I have (plenum, runners, throttle bodies),
exhaust mani is equal length tubular, with garret T4 turbo.
Makes full boost by 4000.
Interesting improvements were...
You can go way further and retain excellent drivability at low revs by changing your inlet manifold and plenum, for a much shorter runner setup.
IMO its mainly the fact that theres little available...
lets have this right then,
are you actually suggesting that I used anything other than standard pump fuel in my car on that (or indeed any other) day?
You are a fantasist,
and by the way im a...
can I suggest we cool it on the whole 'tuner' debate, since there is no professional tuner (only 'tunees' ??:wack::D), gassing off here...
its good that people can correct mistakes, but surely it...
you mean like the most clearcut demontrations of pure engine power, on the road?
like top speed runs for instance?
I think Andy has clearly made an oversight on the matter of turbo efficiency, bacpressure levels etc...
(I know he is planning a very ambitious new monster power engine just now so maybe its the...
would it be possible to buy one driver side window (with slider) ?
and if so, what price?
When finished it Must potentialy be the fastest car on the board for circuit racing, if it was setup for it.
Eh ? :wack:
Fuel consumption goes up slightly.
Emissions levels will also be marginally worse
...on your 500 bhp, flame popping race car....:D
Indeed.
Yeah, I hear what you are saying, however I think that you would find the difference between 8:1 and 7:1 much more marginal in real terms than you may be imagining.
the difference in terms of...
