I don’t know what condition my centre bearing is in, but I’m doing a pretty comprehensive refit so it was a chance to simplify. You can buy the bearing still but it’s a PITA to fit from what I’ve...
Wow, there's something I'd not heard before. Interesting, thanks chap.
Ahhhhhh, I see. Cheers.
Weight, even in like for like Steel, let alone Aluminium or carbon. Scrapping the centre bearing especially if it's old and tired.
Cheap as you like in today's prices too. I guess there's the "does it need a rebuild" question at that mileage but if it's just had a clean bill of health...
When you say they made yours, do you mean they did a batch or something for the SXOC? I'm keen to not have to measure anything as historically I mess it up.
£26,995 OTR, 68k, and sold by pretty much one of the best resellers in the country

Hi All,
I find myself with some spare car pennies this month. Interested in going for a single piece prop shaft to simplify the drive train and save some weight. S14, SR20, 5 speed, ABS.
Are...
It’s not even the most expensive one. There’s a silver one on eBay at the moment for £29,999.
The thing is, they won’t sell. They’re not selling. But the notion that they might inflates the...
Bought 3 weeks earlier for £19k might I add lol. That's the controversy.
They're not called CV boots, they're just rubber boots mate. CV refers to the joint inside the boot on the driven axle.
You need the second part number I posted.
Why would you have front CV joints? Am I missing something.
Edit - do you mean you need the boots on the steering rack? If so, they're 48203-0E025.
OEM Rear CV boot kit is 39741-05U27 and you can still get it from Nissan, if that's helpful.
Inner rods I think are 48521-65F01. But you can get all sorts of goodies from the tuners for inners...
I reckon I'd agree with that, but I also think it'll be next to impossible to know because of the pandemic. I saw an article saying there were 795k fewer foreign born workers in the UK at the moment,...
And both these points are exactly why I sold my R32 GTR. Because it was chunky money compared to 10 years ago and it was a weapon, but it wasn't anywhere near as good as cars around for the same...
Haha it's ok man, I just thought I hope he doesn't think I'm being a cnut.
Just to be clear, I didn't think it wasn't a cool as heck idea. It's just I didn't know if it was more important to get an RX7 over getting anything else in that range that might be fun. The Rex...
Fair man, best reason to buy then :)
Do you really, really want an RX7? Because for that amount of money (granted they would depreciate) but you could net yourself some pretty rad cars. 718 Caymen would top my list there.
Or is it...
Yak's car is now for sale as a whole car, I'm tempted!

Christ, I've tried to do business with the GTR Centre twice, once I bought an N1 spoiler described as "needing work" to find it was absolutely and utterly funked. Rotten right the way through and all...
Another bot repeating what we say. Novel.
There are plenty of us here who design car parts for a living. I would absolutely love to be involved in making reproduction parts, and I have access to low volume suppliers for plastic and metal who...
