so bit of a random one but as part of my course we have to model a working engine in solidworks. I've been using the workshop manual for the ca and using any dimensions that they have in there and...

Oil temp shouldn't go much past 100 degrees on track and during normal use will sit a little bellow that if it goes above that whack an oil cooler on as your oil will deteriorate and stop functioning...
Should be fine with the temp as I imagine that you'll be taking the feed off a sandwich plate on the oil filter so it shouldn't see much temp and if the oil gets to plis 200 ºc then you have far...
Loving the work thats going into this, great project fella
ah my mistake mate but surely it will have to flow a decent amount to maintain the swirl pot ?
it does look a bit twee considering that the standard fuel filer although a paper element not gauze is considerably larger did the filter have a rated flow ?
why have you plumbed the waste gate actuator into the, i take it the intercooler piping doesn't have the attachment for it. could you pop up a pic where you plumbed the actuator into
have you tried just pulling the fuse and seeing if the gauge works ?

if its not an M its weaker than a wet fart :P
thanks mate, does sound like i'll have to be going down the glue route till i can find one off another car that will fit might be a good solution for a few owners if i can.
