You have access to a spare FPR and Walbro, try swapping them first.

if it still does it then maybe you need some chippage?

Immobilisers usually have more than one cut, if it turns over then check that you get a spark.

If your getting a spark then it's easy to bypass the usual fuel pump circuit and try that.

As it turns out if you run 225/45/17's with ET 20 and rack spacers for extra steering lock, your tyre rubs through the main power cable for your ignition system!

Before it was picked up I found that the immobiliser was only getting 4.8v so I thought it could be a dodgy earth, now this morning it's getting 12v BUT the battery is...

What spec are you running and how many miles has it done?

Thanks mate, I'm going to have a good look at the car after it's been towed back, i have spoke to a dealer of the unit and he's had very very few fail, maybe a wiring prob with the car.

I've checked the fuses and they are all o.k., looks like the immobiliser is shagged :(

It's not the battery, the lights were too bright and after 8 years of these cars I've had many a duff battery!
