Good find! But i must admit, the 200's arent the greatest looking cars on the planet. The S14a front is nice, but thats it, the rear as standard is hidious with that big black plate surround and a...
It will already have one so no need to change it or replace it.
And yes it is true, i bought a BB one off my mate that come on his Silvia.
I have known a few chips to be wrong, just not written properly or something. If it was fitted by Jez, he will swap it for you no questions.
I persoanlly think it makes no difference, if you have a balls to the wall spec car, its not gunna run a piggy back ecu anyways, for more road cars the nistune is perfect. And a saving of £300!
Look at the inlet plenum, its on the top held on with 3 (i think) 10mm bolts and has a brown and purple plug going into it.
Take it off and clean it out with carb cleaner
I rekon its the chip personally then.
Power FC and Nistune both use the same sensors so its pretty much down to, do you want d jetro or the hand controller?
I personally have a Nistune, its fantastic.
Id clean the afm up and check all the vac pipes for splits, i have a tear in one of mine right under it, couldnt see it because it was between the engine and inlet plenum! Poxy thing. That caused...
if it was that it wouldnt reset by just restarting the car :(
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Maybe throttle position sensor? (Paul you aided that guess lol)
Clean out your idle control valve and your AFM. See if that helps at all.
Insurance companies dont have a clue when it comes to modifications! My old blue silvia waswritten off and its was pretty much EDC spec without the roll cage. They offered me £1700 and they take it,...
Oh yeah, just realised that! DONT DO IT!!!
Put the hose out the little nipple on the inlet plenum straight into the FPR. Then t the boost off somewhere else, like the dump vale if you have one ir...
Metal like "U" thingy holds that clip on, remove that and it pops off. then big ole adjustable spanner and a bit of effort gets the solonoid out ;)
torque drift is 9 and 9.5j only. If you want a gay spec 8j then you will have the flat surface wheel. The drifts have a set back centre to them and look loads better.
Get some arch rolling dine...
3-4 mm spacer then hahaha!
If you want epic fitment, get a stretched tyre on there and bigger spacers!
Looks good though man, was just messing :D
You can still get a spacer on them, so no lol!
Yupp :)
Well i havent smashed into anything to check, but the air bag light isnt on so theres no issues with the system :)
Trace the wires back to a yellow plug further down with a red, yellow, black, white and blue i believe wires. Put a 2.7 ohm resistor between the black and white wire.
Job done :)
Thats for an...
I had an exedy organic. . .slipped and killed it at 290 bhp and 315 ft lbs of torque. . . .
I have an ACT Extreme Organic now, heavier than stock yes, but perfect bite (like stock) not harsh at...
Sweet! I shall burn the fecker who miss told me information! Im on the hunt for that now then!
Do believe the de cat is a different size too if you have that. I was thinking of getting a S14 downpipe and elbow, then realised that the decat would no longer fit either :(
300ZX rears, they are great brakes. Will go lovely with a set of wilwoods up front too.
Save some money, get your arches rolled and make the car look 100 times better. Misure Phil's company (archenemy) did my rears and i couldnt be happier.
Standard arches kill kittens, they are that...
Premix the stuff you have in a bottle and refill. . . . . .
