Just after a few opinions on them. A freind of my dads was loading one on to a low loader to take it for scrap money.... seems to me he's got to much money but its now ended up sat on the drive...

Disconnect reverse switch. Bridge the connector with a split pin, paper clip or somthing similar if you get a reverse light its the switch.
Best way i know to check a faulty switch.
