yes so i have heard, seems the selector fork for 5th and reverse is thinner compared to gears 1 to 4, this is a s14 1995 im assuming this is the case for 14as too? unsure on s13s.

hi there unsure if this will help anybody but this is a picture of my 5th gear/rev gear selector fork broken all the rest of the gears are fine just hope the magnet has caught most of the swarf....

no fuel sender wouldnt affect the mile per gallon, but if the gauge is reading wrong you will think you have used more fuel than what u have,
