Looks a good 'un! Depending on how far you want to go I know a very good mapping guy who custom road maps for 1.8t's and isnt expensive.
He did my Leon Cupra R and it feels sooo good on the road...

Its possible the code might not show up but could the switch could still be faulty :rolleyes:
A replacement switch isn't much but to get the correct version you'll have to go to the dealer with...
Got any faults registered on the liquid gauge?
Could be a faulty clutch pedal switch.
My Seat Leon does a similar thing but its intermittent and when I code scan with vagcom it comes up with...

The coilovers were fitted by the previous owner so I haven't got anything to compare them to other than a test driven LCR I looked at before buying my one. £175 sounds like a billy bargain especially...
