This is what has eventually happened. Turbo wheel getting stuck on housing!!

Ok ive just started the car with the elbow off so you could see the wheel, and the metal scraping sound i heard was because it would stop spinning for a few moments....joyo!

Ok whipped it off this is the best photo I could get :

Ah yes the cold pipe underneath small nipple ok I've gone from that to solenoid then to actuator. Will try it after dinner!

Ok I've got boost back now but I have the standard s15 gauge. It's going way over 1bar. I think I even hit fuel cut.....I've teed into the carbon canister line then to solenoid then to actuator

thanks for that Pete. does it matter that the connection is so far away from the turbo and standard?

Yeah i thought so as well mate, every kit ive seen has one but this hot pipe has nothing!

thanks for that mate. I've plumbed it into the other vac line on the cold pipe but it's not boosting past 0.5

I fitted the FMIC i have last night, I just have one question about a pipe that comes off the actuator and it used...

Ok it was annoying me so i got under the car last night, tightened the elbow up a little more and also the elbow that goes into the intake side, i could see a little bit of oil seeping out?

Hi guys, just a small update, Surely by now the noise would of been getting worse? Its the same noise now for over a month and a half...and i know the horrible noise that develops from a turbo gasket...

Cheers guys will have a look later, i love the irony of that sentance finch, the locking tab has come loose haha :D

I didn't think about a cracked manifold to be honest! I would of thought if it was the gasket it would be a more harsh noise by now but its same noise all the time.

Ill see if i can check all the...

Basically as im coming onto boost you can hear...

Yeah get rid of that long silly hose lol, put it on the small pipe before intake.
