problem solved guys guess having a bigger headgasket means new pistons and over size what a shame ;)

yh i possibly could whats thrown me is on a nother forum they was saying that if u have an 86mm bore u need a 87mm headgasket witch is why im confussed

yh i will be getting it checked, was just worried about the gap between block and and head gettin extra heat in the gap causing more heat and destroying my engine ?

as title guys i got a 86mm bore (stock) but buy mistake bought an 87mm multi layer cosworth head gasket can i still use it or do i need to buy a 86mm one.

im having this exact problem and i have the apex hard intake pipe when on hard boost come off and it wants to stall unless you blip thenthrottle a few times might give this a try

as clive said i add the problem the bag was not right at the bottom of the tank

the vvt plug is a redy colour with a little metal clip holding it together

possibly the actuator if its not a boost leak ,like u say uve checked have u presurised the system to check ??

when towing it home had to have the clutch in all the way home and the box sounds horrific mate. what could have cum loose in the top end isnt it only where the gear leaver sits inside the shaft?

thats my exact problem the wing of the seat hits the b pillar and wont let me go back any furthur, resulting this im goimg to chop a lump of the wing out the seat to get a bit more room lol:wack:
