cobalt drill bits are better imo as the studs will be hard as hell from all the heat over the years..

the laptop when I plug it in still says the timing is at 15btdc...same as pic above.

dark links are not present on a new chain so you have to use sproket teeth to set timing..which is all done correctly...if it wasn't correct I wouldn't be abe to set the timing using a timing...

It's tdc at no 1..its a new chain so did it by 5 teeth from head on inlet and 8 teeth on exhaust

cas was inserted with first dot alighned with notch-which rotates it so the second dot becomes alighned..if the cas timing was out I would not be able to time the crank to 15 btdc with a timing...

I haved checked that the cas is in the correct position...however don't know if it's become faulty...voltages to cas are correct but the unit itself might be knackered

recently repaced the headgasket on a mates s14a..stage 3a with all associated parts...now it is very hesitant and has no power??

head was skimmed and pressure tested,new cometic gasket,new exhaust...

I paid £1000 for a stage 2 pre face lift with mot and tax...just needed a new actuator(listed for sale with boost problem!)..also had very good bodywork

not sure whereabouts they are,but Performance Torque are supposed to be spot on
