So we have finished rebuilding the SR, and put it in the car, mapped it today with no issue but when I was leaving to go home to start the run in on the car it hit a missfire.

I will probably replace it with a wideband one with the single wire take off to the ecu.
Strange how it only causes it after 5 min idle and how its not always in limp mode as I can drive out of it.
Doubt it, I checked the connections and they all look good plus there is enough movement in the wire length so that it won't stress
So I have checked the wiring at the lambda and connector and all seems absolutely fine.
Did a error code check and it came up with the code 54 (A/T connection error) which has more than likely...
That is a possibility as I have a narrowband wired up, and the wires may have been pulled slightly when I was doing the top gearbox bolts, I will look for obvious signs in the morning.
I will never fit the cat back, it has been so much better without.

I know it will affect the VVT solanoid but anything else?
If the Nuetral position sesnor is disconnected from the gearbox and the car idles fine, is there any other items it will be affecting negatively?

I have used the search to read up about some of this but I seems to have come up with very little which I find very strange on the sxoc forum.

Just a quick update if it makes any difference, this only happens in 3rd-5th when booting it

I will have to take my plugs out and check but there is no difference in the feel of the engine when it shoots to lean, just the usual leveling off of the turbo power.
