timing is definatelly out, at correct alligment is cas at almost middle at 15deg...
than chip would be destroyed anyway..
this is quite nicelly covered by nistune, in feature pack version also with additional code added. lot of nistune development is based on reverse engineering anyway...or I didnt got point of...
Fuel tank is keeped under pressure by vent checkvalve and fuel cap vent valve, you can hear evaporated fuel hissing out when opened fuel cap sometimes. Reason is to decrease gasoline vaporisation.
hmm, even better approach than mentioned yout video...well done
exactly as you noted..
no oem pcv, just vent to atmo.
yes, nistune...
I completelly binned aac and cold idle valves, idle is adjusted by throttle stop and stabilised by ign. timing at idle table. It work just ok. Only not perfect is cold start due to missing air...
reason is that pfc ecu is using different ecu pin for fuel pump relay that your oem ecu. ecu loom was adapted for pfc.
Im running gasketless for many years, just take care for good skimming job.
oil temp should not cause increased blowby, what is reason of catch tank overfill. compression test would be usefull.
yeah man, your car will oxidize you...
thats quite bad corrosion that touched also pcb...I would bet that this ecu is damaged.
Hi there. Here is my idea: just fit cat,but leave rest as it is. Your car should have 4 wire AFM with adjusting screw. S13 as OBD1 car does not maintain lambda 1 at idle and should not be tested for...
I would say that it looks like intermittent AFM failure, as 2000rpm rev limit is applied in case of AFM casue DTC error in the ECU... Check AFM connector and cables for loose contact, moisture,...
oh, its not intended to plugs itself, but to diagnose issue with coilpacks....
try to gap plugs to 0.8mm
splitfire are just oem coils in different colour, very similar performance as new oem, what is about 320hp region if 1.1mm spark gap is used. I dont think that you can do more than 350hp at ca18det...
they stick on plugs very well,no issues after 10000km of use without holders in my s13.
check if chip doesnt came off its socket, check ecu diag.
no, really straight fit, as cam timing is same as oem. I have ca16 inlet cam for ages in my car, its good upgrade for 300hp level, if you can have it for cheap, just go for it.
straight fit, no issues, oem timing.
can oil reach this hole from exhaust cam? also,I cant see any oil tracks between hole and exh.cam. inlet cam is dry...
for sure, you can place EGT probe directly after turbine outlet at the elbow. I have it here for years. You will get different-lower readings compared to manifold. Its hard to say how much lower, as...
