23rd June - Snetterton 100 anyone!??
Any practice days at Lydden you don't need a license for? .... when are the next license days? :)
Any more of these coming up?
Looks a lot safer than the other drift arenas around.... Opinions?
Many people hit the walls? I did a Snetterton drift day recently and whilst lots of people seem afraid of them due to the speed I didn't manage to hit anything :)
Any more of these??! :)
Hey guys, anyone got a recommendation for a UK based M board? The M5 board is very good for info but everyone is US based. (= daily M6 V10 :D)
Have you got a pic of the pod layout at all? Wondering what its like do to compared to a race circuit :)
Anyone planning a day soon? I've just booked drifting at Snett for the 23rd June
Ultra Racing is 29mm front, 23mm rear.
I fitted the rear and now have the front for sale
My modification for this weekends track day at bedford worked a treat. I was black flagged after being warned twice last time... This time plain sailing all day :D
In the real world an open diff will often just spin one wheel in the snow/ice but once you're driving it will be ok. A viscous a little better and the helical a lot better still. Winter tyres indeed...
Going for an uprated front anti roll bar will help a lot to keep the rear in check (leave the standard rear). This gives the rear more grip and promotes gentle understeer instead of oversteer.
Yes the S15 diff (helical which multiples torque from one side to the other) works really well compared to the viscous S14/a. It will give you two nice black lines day in day out and is pretty good...
Massive agreement there... the S15 helical LSD was the biggest step change improvement I felt going from S14a to the S15 SpecR.
Their drive by is 87.5db.
101db static
If you've over 95db static then chances are you'll be black flagged at drive by
I got black flagged too but they did state you should fit any bungs etc at the start if you're anywhere over 95 db on the static. It was fair game (and I got shown the noise board twice - thats a...
Roof was the first thing to get the wrap off!
ah yes but if the wrap hadn't been there I couldn't have found the excuse for these pics ;) :D

...
I think the yellow brake discs do a better job of that tbh
So Black, Grey, Silver?
Oh yes all about set up :)
Seen a few people want rid of their aftermarket LSD's though
