Seems to actually be the pins in the Ecu plug in the loom in the end. You can wiggle with wires in the plug and get the fp going properly

All Ecu grounds and supply's are fine. Good quality in both directions ...

Ok. Will do man. Will let post findings

But like skyshack says. It's has the prime sequence when the ignition goes on.
The problem I get is that it sends a pulse signal out of the Ecu (ground then nothing then ground then nothing etc...
Yup. But surely that would still be just a solid constant ground output from the transistor circuit of the Ecu?

Yeah. I got that far ish. Lol. The car it's going in isn't a 200sx and someone had previously wires two fuel pump relays into it for some reason.
Yeah. Haven't got as far as wiring the eccs relay...
Long story short wiring a CA into a car that isn't a 200sx for a friend.
Did just the basics this morning.
Start/charge side of things
Oil light
Power/ground to the Ecu
And started on...
Got any movement that you shouldn't have anywhere on the front suspension?
I have similar ish mods but with cut and welded hubs. Afterwards mine was hitting on that lip. ... The lip isn't there...
That sounds reasonable. All of the assembly is there and in reasonable condition. So I will have to whip it off and put some sticky stuff on there. Might even treat it to a new gasket. :)

It's got no seal. It's an interference fit on top of the bit with 6 bolts (if you get what I mean) and yeah, seems in pretty good nick. And, yup used GL4

It seems to have come out from where the short shifter bolts on (different to standard) and I think it had 2.3ltr in it. Think it was fairly empty as I had the actual gearbox to bits

Have recently fitted a clutch and changed the bell housing for a different one as the threads were stripped. Been fine for about 2/3 weeks since it's been fitted.
Drove it today for around 50...
To be fair. I think I might have broken it with some enthusiastic driving on the way there. Lol. Just took a few more go's on the clutch to empty all of the fluid out of it! All fixed now though :) ...
That was an alright evening :) ... Shame I only got half way home before my clutch master emptied it's seal and therefore fluid into the drivers foot well of the car!

Will try and get up to this one. Will see if any of the other local boyos are up for it as well.

Haha. If I had to pay for labour I couldn't even think about keeping it!
Would love to stop breaking it. But it's too much fun beating it all of the time. I will try and make it to the meet soon...
Yeah. I know what you mean. Luckily the labour costs me nothing and keeps me out of mischief in the evenings!
That's it. Will get a good one or a bad one. But that's the same with any part I suppose. Mine is a drifter. So some chance of shorter life span!
Yeah. That's it Jonny.
And, I see where you are coming from with the £8 ... But it's one of then where I won't have one there when I whip it out. And, I hate leaving things sat around in bits. :/
Yeah. I've seen it happen before. Just never on my car. I think I might whip the slave back off later and wiggle the arm around again! Would explain the issue that I was having. And, why the fix has...
I do remember noticing a fair amount of play in the arm at the side of the track. So the pivot point is a definite possibility :/ will try the slave when I have a chance and go from there
Yeah. I hadn't thought of that. Even though I know it's a "common" problem. Was more inclined to believe that it was heavy clutches that are more likely to mash them up. Like you say. Might as well...
My first thought was hydraulic. But a "good mechanic" friend of mine has half managed to convince me that it's the pressure plate/release bearing breaking up in the bell housing not giving enough...
Reckon? I have a new one on the shelf at the unit. So not a bad shout. Only take 15 minutes to change and bleed them! I'll give that a go
Went to a drift day the other day. First session the clutch pedal stuck to the floor. Not ideal! So tried bleeding it by the side of the track. Made no difference. Then noticing that the slave...
