More holding force due to larger diameter and longer "leverage"... Also cheaper and plentiful flywheels and clutches
Anyone? :)
I finally got my hands to test-fit SR20 flywheel with CA18ET starter. Well, bad news is this starter doesn't fit this flywheel too good - it makes bad sounds when cranking, and flywheel teeth were...
Exactly what I was thinking :) 370HP capable diesel must be quite OK for daily driver :)
zeppelin101, firstly thank you very much for such detailed answer.
But why do you call Eaton M45 not a positive displacement type? I think it is.
Also, I'm actually going to use a clutch, not only...
I think that would be better for max flow because turbo would push through bypass not suck, but I'm afraid of supercharger melting at loads when both SC and turbo are compressing air...
I have ran up to 1.8bar in the past; if I get 0.6bar of boost from SC I would be more than happy
They are extremely slow (at least 3 seconds each way)
Thanks guys, will check those threads :) although JCD's build is just supercharged, not supercharger + turbo :)
Main thing I wasnt't sure of, whether SC should be first to see fresh air, then turbo...
Long time since I last posted here :)
Over the winter, as usually, new ideas came to my mind, one of them is that I might try adding supercharger to my 200SX. Reason is simple - I like the car so...
Hi, is your project finished yet? :)
Yepp I'll bring it to the garage next week, can't see what I can do myself..
P.S. I didn't force it to close, it does close perfectly. DID...
It will still be holding at the hinge, even if wing can be removed with door closed
all this kicking/pulling putside handle/activating driver side must happen at exactly same time?
I'm not sure my door will like any hard kicking
Have you succeeded? My door won't open anymore too
Have the same problem, central lock tries to open but cannot open fully...
:(
On the other hand, Mobne is one of only few people who built 600+ HP CA, so info would be very valuable for many others :)
When do you plan to finish / dyno it? :)
edited: all bulbs are fine actually. Just not doing anything when I change modes
To not to start new thread...
My heater control doesn't work: it does not change modes (air path).
What's the possible reason?
OK guys, this is funny as hell, but since this thread was active I've got ORC Twin Plate (used but good), and by the end of 2012 season it started slipping under power when hot :D So held a bit over...
Is it still going? What's the toughest clutch you have for CA18?
What is involved in doing this? I'm thinking about getting RLTC for my S13 :)
Is it possible? It says on their site that RLTC doesn't work with low-impedance injectors. So, have anyone used it on CA18?
maybe there are better traction control systems out there?
