Well, I take my hat off to y'all.
Seems we have a lot of heroic home mechanics on here! That or you're all too bloody tight to get a professional to do it ha ha ha!
Well my gearbox removal...
Ah!
You're all crazy.
And I'm a bit of a weed... :wack:
Many thanks though, and while we're on the subject, approximately how heavy is a basic engine?
Dropping my gearbox out on my drive tomorrow, and was just wondering how heavy the thing is so I'm prepared really...
It's an S14 manual.
Cheers chaps!
Ahhhh a thing of short-lived beauty.
Shame though mate...
Ahhh I recognise this car now
You went to Modified Nationals didn't you mate?
Your car was pointing pretty much directly at mine on the Fast-N-Modded stand. Was looking at your car and it's...
Still gorgeous though!
Ben!
Fail!!
It has been one month since your last confession. What are your sins?
Now now... just to clarify I meant the diameter of the Skyline GTR discs is 324mm... and they fit under 17's from the factory... so 330mm diameter discs under 18's will be no problem.
After...
Well the GTR discs are 324mm so my guess would be yes.
However if you mean the caliper touching the spokes then I can't offer any useful advice other than, get some spacers ;)
From what I can gather, you can't get the S14 clear lenses cheap. The only ones that are manufactured are IIRC something like £65 which I think is horrendous.
I believe there is a bit of a cheeky...
Well you're having an hour off to fit my Walbro and make fun of me for doing something wrong with those boost/vaccum pipes on Saturday... :D
Anyway... some of us have got work at 8am...
Well, I popped over tonight to gee him up a bit, and we did work!

That settles it then. Though I'll buy some LED bulbs when it's done.
That said, all bulbs apart from the headlights should be LED's!
Looking tidy mate, very tidy.
Always knew those wheels would look better on a white motor...
That said the missus wants me to spray mine white now, winner!
Keep up the...
Gypsyville isn't too bad this time of year.... too cold for the chav ha ha ha
Ey despite me living there I'm no chav!
What, stripping it to sell bits on?
Either way, super :)
Finished??!
Ha!
Do bears sh*t in the woods and then wipe their furry little botty's with Andrex's finest?
Ay that's the right thing to do mate, got it in one there.
Good luck with it mate, and I'd like to see pics when it's on :)
Yeh that'll be fine mate. Just try and glue/bond the lip as far back and as close to the rear quarter as you can and that should hold it in nicely. I dare say these SRB lips will be quite a good fit...
I bought my S14 a year and a half ago and have been looking for nice lights ever since.
I'm still looking... :(
Yup 6.5J with a 205mm tyre.
Ghey! lol
I've just sold a set of 17's that had the go to buy a set of 18's for the show.
What's the point of looking ok and being able to break all the speed limits in 2 gears when you could look great...
Ah ya beat me to it Carl... Ben text me the same message the lazy shrimp...
:wack:
Oh god won't be til sometime next week now. Need to carry on with this bastard decorating through the week nights and the following weekend aswell I reckon. It's a major pain in the arse. :censored: ...
