Have a 1997 s14a with stock rad.
What colour coolant as all that's in there is water,

If the old wires are still there and you still want to replace them. (stock cables are fine) then electric tape end of new wire to old wire and pull through from inside car.

In every way i agree with 59bhp.

The larger the intercooler the better and the cooler air hitting it the better.

thinik the best place for you to go to would be erith,

massive scrap yard down there and alot of places you could have a photoshoot,
