That's a shame, was always hoping to get the call or Pm that it was going back up for sale. Hope it has gone to a good home though :)
I've been running a 1997 4.0 Cherokee for the last couple of years (bought it preparing for a bad winter and haven't seen a drop of snow since buying it). MPG wasn't great at 18-20ish but it's been...
Garage-D still sell them
E39 M5. Had mine well over a year now, use it 7 days a week and I still can't think of another car I'd rather have. Apart from a fuel pump (cheap) and a vanos issue (sub £1000), its been very...
As others have said E39 touring is the best non-4x4 option, I used to have an E39 540 6speed tourer (which I regret selling!), towed all sorts with it and it never felt like it was struggling.
Maybe the other garages won't recommend anyone else because they know everyone else is out of stock not because they are assholes?
Garage-D sell the ABS versions: https://www.facebook.com/Garage.D.uk/photos/a.423474734360938.87226.105417926166622/801350313240043/?type=1&theater
Sky have been a bit off the ball for me too recently :-( Been with them 6 or 7 years and have two policies with them but when renewing and changing to a new car on one of the policies (E39 M5) they...
I used to work for about 7years but left 3years ago, towards the end nearly half of all the tool boxes we had in got sent back to the warehouse as returns as they were all damaged still in the boxes,...
Another vote for Tein. I had brand new Driftworks/HSD CS2's on my old 180SX (now Zepplin's car) and didn't like them on track or road. Bit the bullet a bought a brand new set of Tein Type Flex (I...
Firstly I hope this isn't breaking any trade rules by me posting here, but just thought I should give a quick explanation.......
I actually work at Garage-D (and it was me who did the Facebook...
Yep my old car indeed........do miss it but I wasn't using it as much as I would have liked. I am very happy its ended up in good hands and I look forward to following its progress on here :)
I don't know too much about them, but Ive got one on the way for my 180SX, should hopefully have it in a week or so, will let you know what its like once fitted!
I too was talking to Magic Aero about a full kit for my new 180sx. Luckly there was a few people selling genuine kits and bits over the last couple of weeks and I managed to make up a complete...
I saw this in the BFI -Imax last night, it looked and sounded amazing in there! It is well worth seeing.
Alan was telling me about this the other day at it sounds like its going to be pretty awesome! Cant wait to see/hear it up and running.
I hate pretty much all audi's, but there is something about that shape S4 I've always liked. I'll be very tempted to try one for a while when/if my Skyline sells.
My Galaxy S2 was out for most of the day. Interesting to hear people say 02 are crap, be interested to hear who is better than them as I personally wouldn't ever go near Voadfone or T-mobile/Orange...
I had a hard enough time finding a 540 touring manual, let alone trying to find a sport model! I do like the silver trim in yours, I think it would go well in mine with the black interior and silver...
Im not really a fan of the wood either tbh, there's usually a couple of different trims available on ebay though. Im thinking black or silver would really make it look a bit more modern inside.
Looks good mate! Bit jealous of the MPG though, only had my 540 a day but the computer was showing 13mpg lol
I know there are alot of BMW owners on here, so thought I'd post up some pics of my new one. Its a 2000 540i touring, 6 speed manual. Only picked it up last night, but Im loving it already :) Its...
I had an e36 318is for a short while and REALLY liked it! It wasnt exactly quick but it had enough poke as a daily and was real good fun to drive for a standard car, would deffinietly have one again...
Deffinietly needs a compression test, but unfortunately as alanjuggler says, rb25s are very prone to ringland failure :( Fingers crossed for you!
