As above I can get the Toyo R1R's for £155 a piece over here and they are £228 in the UK with Camskill who are normally very cheap
I was at the ring the other day and a group of Noble drivers were telling me the the Toyo R1R's were the best tyre they had ever used in the dry (pants in the wet). I want a tyre that has both wet...
If I threw Toyo T1 sports R1R's or T1R's into the equation would they be a better choice?
They are for a Porsche, but I am more concerned about which tyre will perform better rather than which one is N Rated:thumbs:
Many thanks for the reply Dan. I need 265/35 18 and I can get them no problem over here. I want both winter and summer tyres. I'm not fussed about which make the winter tyres are but for the summer...
I need to buy new tyres and would like to know if anyone here has tried either
Maxxis MAZ1's, Federal RSR, Toyo R1R's or Bridgestone S02's?
Where in the UK is a cheap place to buy tyres nowadays? I use to buy from camskill and wondered if they are still competitive. I am after 265/35/18
ETA are Maxxis MAZ1's any good compared to say...
Many thanks guys; whilst on the subject I also need to know the weight of a gearbox?

Ok cheers Polo:thumbs:
I live approximately 41.3miles;) from the Ring, with a de-restricted Autobahn for about half of the journey so not too far.
Hi Polo, incredible workmanship with this project and serious pace to completion. I can't believe the short space of time this has taken.
I had a little issue on the Ring today with my lexan window...
I may be showing signs of my sense of fashion here but since when the feck did having tyres fitted like the ones fitted in the picture on post 19:ghey: ever become fashionable. They look like a...
