Thanks Mark, to be honest I am having difficulty finding my way around the engine... I know nothing about Diesel engines.

If I took a photo would you show me which pipe I would need to remove ?

I have an Almera DCI and its lost power, will start OK and drive off but as soon as you try to accelerate its like a wet blanket.

Its smoking mainly on acceleration but very little when idling....

Yeah see what you mean, and of course the quality of the original ink will be far better but as you say the cost would be nearly as much as the actual printer but as we all know that is how the...

The printer that this new one is replacing is an Epson and we have had it about 12 years maybe longer and in all that time we used compatible inks with no problems at all.
