Maybe something to do with the ignition key barrel on the steering column. I'm not sure how to test it though.

I think some people make custom brackets for them to use as upgraded ones. I had them on my sr20 I brought but swapped them for standard ones

my wiring specialties harness turned up...
There was no power getting to the engine bay fuse box. The battery has been located to the boot. So what ever old wire was meant to do it isn't anymore. It ran a fresh 12v wire to the fuse box and...
I've put the keys in the ignition and turned it to accessory 2 position and checked the engine bay. The bay fuse box isn't getting any power but there is power at the starter motor and alternator.

Hey guys I'm major stumped on this. I converted my s13 from ca18 to sr20 a few months ago.
I used a new wiring loom to do it all
but this morning it just wouldn't start. No power to the clock...
So engine number 3 turned up yesterday. I've been on tesco's tinned food for three months to afford it. The wiring specialties harness will be on order next month also.

I thought the leds might be too bright too but I found out there is a rocker switch to the right side of the steering column. It adjusts the dashes brightness when held. It has a picture of a light...

Look at it this way, if you decide to fix it then you won't have to worry about the bodywork for a while. Where as if you reshell it then who knows what might happen a little while down the line.
