Mine ran fine on clean veg oil on a 50/50 mix on a lucus pump. However the bosch is stronger.

I found most have lucus pumps.

if they make contact with the tarmac i think they would wear quickly. they are only woven fibres.

I use mine if i need to get out of un-gritted snow covered side roads or burried in car park...

socks are good for our snow fall patterns and conditions, and more importantly because they dont royally f*ck up the tarmac like chains do!

But socks will wear out if you use them on the road when...

I find that CAP is sometimes more accurate and does list imports.

And regardless of what people will say, i have never cracked a screen in 12years of defrosting in this way.

It will also have electric power steering which can fail with out warning and the only cure as far as im aware is to replace the ecu moduel, not a cheap fix

irrc it will be an old lancia engine...

i have always said this would be an epic conversion if only i had the money to do it.
