Together I doubt it would be able to command anywhere near the price of a decent ps13, the shell itself is all in good condition but other things require attention like replacing the engine mounts,...

I've struggled with the wiring for months now and there's a few other bits (that will cost money) that require attention to get it to a roadworthy state. I could put it back to a "rolling" state and...

I've penned a move date of April 2012 depending if I can raise the funds before then.

All the parts are there to make it a complete car again, the only thing that's half done are the wiring looms....

The alarm problems were an indication of the underlying problems with the wiring:(

I eventually solved the alarm problem, turns out the live feed that the alarm was spliced into was no longer...

I used to use the TomTom app on my iPhone4 all day driving around in a van, had it mounted on the official TomTom cradle which allegedly boosts the gps signal. Always found the TomTom user interface...

To be fair now I know what I'm doing after spending a good hour talking to Cobra technical support I think I'll be able to do a better job than the installers did! I've also got other wiring to tidy...

When I spoke to Cobra on the phone they said check the fuse. I searched all the alarm wiring for an in line fuse for the live feed and there isn't one which is quite annoying:annoyed: Cobra said...

I didn't want to chop it out because it's declared on the insurance as a thatcham alarm and I paid for the installation when I got the car.

I searched the internets for hours last night but the only stuff related to the alarm is resync of the fob when changing the fob battery..

Had the car battery drop tested today...

Anybody in/around Doncaster available to come & offer any assistance regarding my other thread here

It's some sort of alarm/electrical issue so beware before offering help:)

When imported I had a Cobra 7928/26/HF fitted to the Silvia. It hasn't caused a problem for 3 years but now it's completely immobilised the car and won't turn off:mad:
