Mind you with a t28r on a ca I'd probably stick to about 8psi without supporting mods d'oh
I ran 14psi on a ca for around 3 years and 14psi on an sr for around 2 years which is still going strong I found and many others have found both engines can take it all day long with no issues :-)

yeah just saying i think the angle that sock sits helps in the way the pump sucks up the fuel so if it looks dodgy put the original on but don`t run without one or you run the risk of running out of...
i bought an aftermarket pile of shit pump which came with a prety much 90 degree angled sock and the car used to run out of petrol before the petrol light would even come on then i brought a walbro...
its worth getting oem nissan gaskets! i`ve tried a few different makes and they never last as long as oem they`re worth the extra few quid dude specially if your going sideways at every given...

i agree ca`s can take shit loads of abuse i was only running about 300bhp with no respect what so ever for the engine and she loved it everyday of the week for about four years with no complaints...
my head gasket went pop a few years back when i had a ca in my 13 replaced it with a conceptua gasket and lasted about two weeks before it went again then replaced it with a cometic and it was fine...
