Nissan 200SX S14 S15 Front Mount Intercooler Kit

Fitting a front mount intercooler is an excellent way of safely increasing your engine's power output. This is as a result of reducing the temperature of the air entering the engine, creating a denser charge. Replacing the standard intercooler with a larger item means that much more cooling is on offer for the hot air trying to enter the engine. The cooler the air, the more power you will have on tap.

Features:

* Each kit is designed specifically for each model of car and is supplied with everything shown in the picture
* Bar and plate intercooler 24 x 12 x 3 Inch.
* 3 Inch Inlet and 3 Inch outlet.
* High flowing hand made end tanks fully TIG welded.
* Polished aluminium pipework.
* All necessary clamps and silicone hoses.
* Maximum cooling capacity while allowing for minimal pressure drops.
* 1050cfm @ 0.5 psi drop.
* Capable of handling up to 600BHP.
* Fitting instructions are not supplied with the kit - please consult an expert for advice on installation

Hi guys, couple of questions regarding fitting one of these to an S15:

- Do you know if the core will fit behind the Aero bumper without any trimming? I have heard the Autobahn equivalent does so thought it was worth asking!

- A friend of mine, with an S15, had a problem with the breather pipe fitting from the cold intake pipe. It was protruding with the engine fan cover which resulted in him having to trim it down. Is this still the case or are there other cold pipes available?

This is as a result of reducing the temperature of the air entering the engine, creating a denser charge. The standard Nissan intercooler is a small unit mounted behind the passenger-side wing. Replacing the OEM intercooler with a much larger, front mounted item means that much more cooling is on offer for the hot air trying to enter the engine. The cooler the air, the more power you will have on tap.

3" inlet and outlet
TIG welded
Polished aluminium pipework
