It handles great tbh, it’s running an lsd which helps and I’m really impressed with the coilovers as you can ride the curbs pretty well. Could do with a bit more power but that’s always the way I guess ��
Had too much time on my hands so made an accidental purchase for the fiesta.
I say accidental but I’ve been looking in to doing it for a while and seeing as I’ve had a slight promotion at work and I’m not spending money in the pub currently I bought this.....

For those that don’t know it’s a ford 1.6 ecoboost engine out of a 2015 fiesta st180.
I’m yet to get the engine management but it’ll come with a 220bhp base map on it so should give my old fiesta a new lease of life :)

New wheel to replace the unbranded eBay special the car came with as we’ve all seen how they can bend in a crash.

New OMP lower brace. Can already feel the front is stiffer even on the road which is a result. Not sure it’ll fit with the new engine but if it doesn’t I’ll have to make one.

Finally decided to try one of the eBay generic front EZ lip style splitter. For around £10 delivered it was worth a shot and I’m actually impressed.

I’ve also come to realise that my current gearbox will be over it’s reliable power limit so I’ve also picked up a 6 speed box and cable linkage from a 2015 fiesta st180 which should be more resilient.

Decided to get another car for the new build off a friend which is considerably cleaner than my current car

Set about removing the engine and interior ready for a little welding including seat mounts and harness mounts.

Forgot about this but I also fitted a quaife lsd to the 6 speed box. Setting the shims and preload wasn’t fun but got there in the end.

Yeah it has a little. Still need to drop the gearbox and replace the main oil seal on it so haven’t been driving it.

New engine in and fully mounted. Just got to treat some rust in the bay and tidy the mounts up to get it looking right.

More progress today
Managed to get the body loom working so the car has lights, wipers, heaters and windows etc working again. Dropped the sump to fit the baffle around the oil pickup, ran the new cable gear linkage and fitted my new radiator :D
