I used to race a tamiya f1 car on carpet when I was younger and keep finding myself tempted to give it another go. Does anyone here still race RC cars? Any good places to look for info or people selling complete packages as I no longer know where to begin as the tech has moved on incredibly.
Looking at local clubs a 2wd/4wd buggy would make the most sense if I were to get back in to it.
I have bought a 4wd battery setup this year mega cheap. Buy not had it out yet.

Nice! Never raced other than with a few friends. I still have my Tamiya Avante 2001 that I keep telling myself* I'll update with new radio gear and a new motor at some point!
*for the last 5 years or so...
I paid 75 with an s15 and a ps shell included. Had to buy a new battery but otherwise. Bargain :DQuote:
